- Wash rice and soak for an hour. soak potato too for half an hour
- Light fry potatoes in lit quantity of oil.
- Heat oil in a pot and fry onion till translucent
- Grind ginger garlic tomato and add in this pot
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and cumin powder respectively.
- Now add whole spices and cook
- Add chicken powder and cook
- Now add peas and cabbage and cook
- Add salt to taste
- Add potatoes and cook till become soft
- Add water and boil it.
- Now strain water from rice and add in this pot and cook in high flame.
- When rice become large and evaporate all water from pot. keep it in steam under low flame.cover the lid.
- Now it's ready to eat.
