- Clean and soak rice in water for half an hour.
- By that time chop and prepare all the vegetables.
- Heat ghee in a cooker. Put cumin seeds let them crackle then add jejpatta,cardamom,cloves,black pepper. Add chopped onion. Saute it till pinkish in colour. Add turmeric powder Add all vegetables saute them too.
- Strain water from rice and add in.Saute them too.
- Now put cashewnuts and kishmish.Lastly pour water and salt.
- Close the lid of cooker.Let it cook on medium heat for 10 min.
- Let the cooker steam settle then open the lid. Garnish with coriander.
- Serve with papad,curd and pickle.
